Today was a historic day because we have a new President and for me it was a busy day of adventures. Mom and I went to Story time at the library. I really do love story time. I got to play with lots of kids my age. We sang songs, read books, played with bubbles and played games. My favorite part was the bubbles. I loved watching the bubbles float to the ground. I looked up as far as I could and followed them to the ground. I tried to catch them but I didn't have much success. I will try again next week.
After story time I took a short nap because mom woke me up to go to my Auntie Collette's house to watch our new President speak, President Obama. It was fun watching the TV since we don't have one in our house anymore. I guess mom and dad new I would like TV too much for my own good. When I was at Auntie Collette's I ate a big meal of carrots and rice and entertained everyone with my excellent jumping skill and my ability to suck on my toes. I was so tired from all the excitement that I fell asleep next to mom on the couch playing with my toys. When I woke up I took a car ride with Auntie Collette and mom. We stopped at the store and got a fun wrap for mom to hold me with. I love visiting my Auntie.
When we came home I spent some quality time on my Jumparoo and catching up with my dogs. Mom fed me my favorite meal...Sweet Potato's, Peas and Oatmeal. I do love my sweet potato's. Then mom tried out her wrap (I wasn't so happy about that at first), I took a bath with my ducky and mom sang me lots of songs. It was getting late and I really didn't feel like sleeping but I could tell that it was time so I gave in and decided I better get some rest for I am sure tomorrow will be full of fun.
May God lead and bless our new President, President Obama. I will be praying that God will give you strength and wisdom over the next 4 years.
